Purdy's Petting Zoo is a privately owned zoo.
Therefore, the zoo does not receive state, local or federal funding of any kind.
All admissions proceeds goes directly towards caring for the animals and upkeep
of the zoo. This includes animal housing, appropriate diet, veterinary care, new
exhibit and design for all maintenance of the facility.

Petting Zoo
Safety & Information
For the safety of our animals and guests.
1. It is our policy to give a safety speech prior to entrance
to the zoo
2. You will be asked to secure all pockets items before entering the zoo
because ingested foreign items can kill!
3. Parents are encouraged to supervise their children at all times.
4. Please do not taunt the animals, they have feeling too.
5. Always wash your hands after exiting the zoo or anytime you feel
the need, we have several hand sanitizer stations throughout
the zoo
and 2 sinks to wash your hands, 1 is located at the entrance
/ exit gate
and the other is located by the restrooms.
6. NO RUNNING or SCREAMING at any time.
