Purdy's Petting Zoo is a privately owned zoo.
Therefore, the zoo does not receive state, local or federal funding of any kind.
All admissions proceeds goes directly towards caring for the animals and upkeep
of the zoo. This includes animal housing, appropriate diet, veterinary care, new
exhibit and design for all maintenance of the facility.

FISHING IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
We have a small stocked pond with blue channel catfish.
We practice catch and release !
Fishing Prices (No Fishing Licenses Needed)
ADULTS AND KIDS $ 5.00 Each person
We are experimenting with a new hook designed for catfish so that they
will not swallow the hook. During this period each person is allowed to fish
and catch 1 fish.
You can bring your own fishing rod, or we
can provide you with a
fishing rod, tackle and a limited amount of bait.
Additional Bait available for purchase.
For $2.00 per box of chicken livers (tax included)
April 16, 2009 - We just re-stocked our pond with lots and lots of fun
catchable sized blue channel catfish.
1st Fish caught in pond 3 pounder - 10/10/2008 Grandmother and Landon catching fish at the same time. Hunter catches a 5 lb. catfish My daughter (Darrah) her first fish she has ever caught.
