Welcome to Brown Intermediate!
"Where we strive for greatness and nothing less."

On October 31, the sixth grade went on a field trip to Purdy’s Petting Zoo. While we were there we were able to go gem mining, go fishing, go on a hayride, and of course visit the petting zoo. There were animals such as Zebus, Tennessee fainting goats, alpacas, peacocks, and deer. When you went gem mining you could find gems like Ruby, Sapphire, Emeralds, Amethyst, Garnet, Topaz, Smokey and rose quartz, and many more. Where you went fishing we practiced catch and release. The fish in the pond were Blue Channel Catfish. This field trip was a blast!!
The Petting zoo now has a Camel and a Zebra, we can't wait to go back in the Spring and see the new animals.
