Brown Intermediate's Accelerated Reader Program allows every student a chance to read for pleasure and receive points for doing it.  Students earn points depending on the number of questions answered correctly and upon the difficulty of the book.  The students can then redeem their points for prizes in the AR Store.

The students will redeem points during library times and can carry over points to the following 6-week period.  The AR store has prizes categorized as follows:

-15 point items -25 point items -35 point items
-50 point items -75 point items -100 point items
