I graduated from Samford University in Birmingham with a degree in Business Management.  Later, I obtained my Master's Degree in Education from the University of Tennessee, and an Ed.S. through LMU.  I have taught 4th and 6th grades in the Sweetwater City School system since 2001.  During this time, I've been blessed with wonderful students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.  I am the proud father of three sons who have given my life direction and meaning, and have always believed that students never care about how much you know, until they know how much you care.  I have spent a large portion of my life working with youth in sports clubs and teaching, and I've never viewed either as a monotonous job.  This year, I will be beginning a new chapter in my life, and I'm thrilled about the challenges and opportunities that are before me.  The Sweetwater City School system is loaded with quality people who are here for the right reasons, and I am honored to be a part of this wonderful family.  We want Brown Intermediate to be a welcoming, educational, and inspirational place for the families of our community.
